1. Guitarist’s Night Out

Do you want to play your acoustic guitar to an appreciative and sympathetic audience? Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6pm at the Summerlin Library for an evening where you can play guitar and listen to other guitarist as they showcase their favorite songs.  Beginners through professionals are welcome.  Come play or listen in a supportive environment.  Guitarists’ Night Out 

2. The College of Southern Nevada Orchestra

The College of Southern Nevada Orchestra is a community based orchestra open to all interested players.  Rehearsals are held Monday afternoons beginning at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m.  The conductors choose excellent literature that is within reach of instrumentalist that have studied through high school or to anyone who has taken or is taking private lessons. Contact either Christopher Davis or Geof Neuman for additional information.

3. Henderson Symphony Orchestra

The Henderson Symphony Orchestra  is a communty based orchestra.  Interested players should contact Julie Williams, Director of Operations, with inquiries. Henderson Symphony Orchestra

4. The Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers

The Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers Association sponsors several jam sessions and performances throughout the greater Las Vegas Area.  For further information check out their website Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers Association.

5. Ensemble Opportunities

If you are interested in playing in a chamber music ensemble, please submit your name, email, instrument,  genre, and part of the valley you live in (i.e. Northwest, Summerlin, Central, Green Valley, Henderson, etc.), performance level and statement of consent to share your email with other interested persons to lvcge@yahoo.com or Summerlinstrings@aol.com.

We will share this information with others that are interested in playing in an ensemble.

Examples of Genres are: string quartet, woodwind quintet, brass choir, string band, guitar ensemble, vocal ensembles, drum circles, etc.
